The Green Beer Sessions: Communication and Digital Strategy · KOMUNIKI
A Project Born from the Collaboration Between Energreen Design, Archikubik, and Komuniki
The Green Beer Sessions is a series of professional afterwork gatherings dedicated to architecture and sustainability, born in Barcelona as part of Barcelona World Capital of Architecture 2026. The project is the result of a collaboration between three partners: Energreen Design (Mauro Manca), Archikubik (Marc Chalamanch), and Komuniki (Nicola Mostallino).
Each session brings together professionals from architecture, urban planning, and sustainability to talk directly, critically, and without filters about the current challenges of the built environment, with open discussion, beer, and a DJ set.
The project is supported by the Barcelona City Council and has sponsors such as Mapei, URSA, Simon Electric, and Access Safety.
Komuniki’s Role in The Green Beer Sessions
Within the project, Nicola Mostallino with Komuniki handles the digital strategy and communication entirely, coordinating all the actions needed to boost the project’s visibility, attract participants, and build a solid community around sustainable architecture.
Website: Creation and Maintenance on WordPress
The project’s digital presence was built on WordPress, with a site designed to communicate the concept, event dates, speakers, and the ecosystem of partners and sponsors.
Activities carried out include:
- Development and setup of the website greenbeersessions.com on WordPress
- Content structure design aimed at conversion and event sign-ups
- Ongoing maintenance, updating events, speakers, and content
- On-page SEO optimization with an optimized heading structure, meta tags, and URLs
- Mailchimp integration for newsletter and subscriber list management

Video and Podcast Production
A key part of the communication strategy is the production and distribution of audiovisual content, which extends the reach of each session well beyond those attending in person:
- Live streaming of events on social media
- Editing and publishing event videos on YouTube: @TheGreenBeerSessions
- Production of The Green Beer Sessions podcast, with themed episodes on sustainability and architecture
- Reels and short clips for Instagram and TikTok featuring the key moments of each session
- Video interviews with speakers, partners, and attendees

Managing the mailing list and email marketing campaigns is a key tool for keeping the community informed and maximizing event sign-ups:
